B 1 Wrought Iron Sign Bracket

2 Day Class

This can be both a repeat of last years sign bracket class and a new hanging sign class based on which students sign up for the class. For those that want to continue what we started last year we will have some patterns of different shapes that students can cut out of wood and band with decorative steel. For the new students they can make a bracket like we did last year. This class was a lot of fun and almost every student finished the project.

The process for making these will be first to use a hammer and anvil to flatten the ends of the steel. If students need help with this it will be provided. Decorative ends will be created on the ends of steel rods and they will be bent into graceful curves. These will all be drilled and riveted in place securing the bracket. This technique can be used to make all sorts of iron and steel objects.

Materials fee is 400 DKK - paid to the teacher first day in class.
